Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath confirmed that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be visiting Ayodhya’s Ram Mandir in January to sanctify the Idol.
UP CM said in a public meeting that their aim is to transform Ayodhya into one of the world’s most beautiful cities; for this transformation, development projects worth INR 32,000 crore are now on the list for Ayodhya. He also added that no other city in India would match the scale of development here.
Yogi said, “When one of the key milestones, the installation of Ram Lalla in the new temple takes place in January ‘after a wait of 500 years’, Ayodhya’s significance on a global scale will increase. Prime Minister is scheduled to attend the event. Ram Lalla is the idol of Lord Ram, in his five-year-old Avatar”.
Yogi Adityanath was at a program that was organized to celebrate the completion of nine years of the Modi Government in power. There he said, “Ayodhya holds a special place in the hearts of millions of people. The people have a strong sense of Lord Ram’s presence in their lives, and the construction of the temple will be a manifestation of their devotion and belief”.
The chief minister put a goal of lighting 21 lakh diyas and lamps during the upcoming Deepotsav. He also influenced every household in Ayodhya to light lamps. The ghats, Suryakund, Bharat Kund, and all the temples would also be lit with lamps. Yogi said, “The preparations for this should commence from now itself as it sets the stage for the arrival of Lord Ram to his home next year”.
He also mentioned the efforts made by the Modi government to improve the infrastructure of Ayodhya. Adityanath claimed that in the next four to six months, Ayodhya’s roads will look like the Kartavya Path in Delhi.
