The President of the US Joe Biden, and the first lady of the US have invited Prime Minister Modi for a formal meeting and state visit. There would also be a State Dinner on the 22nd of June. Both countries are preparing for this historic visit with full power.
This first state visit of PM Modi to the US will probably be a historic moment for the relationship between India and the US. The officials of both countries are working on a long-lasting outcome document. This meeting would take up matters and issues between India and US and would decide the outline of the ties between the countries for years and decades to come.
Both countries are likely to start the preparation for this historic visit by this week. Jake Sullivan, the National Security Advisor of the US is to come to New Delhi with his Indian National Security Advisor, Ajit Doval for the second round of the iCET (initiative on Critical and Emerging Technology) Dialogue.
PM Modi and Joe Biden have announced the initiative they will be taking for iCET in May 2022 in order to expand the strategic technology partnership between both countries and defense industrial cooperation between the governments, businesses, and academic institutions of India and the US.
Both countries would be taking issues and that would heave the partnership between India and the US. Their main areas to focus on would be technology, space, and defense.
President Biden and PM Modi, both of them believe that this partnership, or better say relationship between our two countries is important not only for India and the US but also for the rest of the world.
The resulting document is expected to be the reflection of the visions of both Biden and Modi. The main vision is to concretize the trust and confidence level between the two countries, and to increase the ability of India to produce things at affordable prices with the technology of America.
